EAST BEACH MONTESSORI REOPENS AS FEARS OF SWINE FLU SUBSIDE

WE HAVE OPENED OUR DOORS TO STUDENTS THIS MORNING AFTER GETTING THE ALL CLEAR FROM VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH OFFICIALS ON WEDNESDAY MORNING.

The primary goals for East Beach Montessori will be to provide a nurturing and caring establishment following the philosophies of Maria Montessori. We aim to meet the needs of parents who are looking for an alternative method of teaching and also provide full day care for those parents who need it. We believe fervently that children need continuity of philosophy throughout the day. In order to achieve that we will have a Montessori teacher all day, not just the morning and extended day periods. This means the children will feel comfortable and secure knowing they will not be seeing different adults throughout the day.
