Guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, East Beach Montessori School inspires the development of individual children in a safe, comfortable, supportive and culturally diverse environment. Children are given the freedom to explore, cooperate, create, and become independent thinkers.  East Beach Montessori School offers children traditional Montessori materials, which are self-correcting and allow each child to work independently.  All materials are displayed in an orderly and attractive manner on low open shelves that are inviting to students.  Children learn basic skills, such as pouring, sweeping, and dressing. Not only are these life coping skills, but they also allow children to develop overall coordination, control, concentration, self confidence and a sense of order. Children will move along at their own pace.  As their confidence increases they will feel motivated to choose more challenging tasks. At East Beach Montessori we will prepare our students to deal with the variety of life's challenges at all ages.
